As of 3rd October 2018, I became an Emeritus Professor: what does that mean? While officially retired, I retain space within the University, and remain actively involved in research.
Over the many years (since 1980, originally at Glasgow University, and since 1984, at Stirling) I have taught a very wide range of material in Computing, and even occasionally Mathematics. And now I'm not teaching at all.
Yes, I am a person with other interests too. I have a wife and family, and play jazz/blues/folk piano, and am learning the clarinet.
